Blasting operations within our jurisdiction are strictly regulated to ensure public safety and property protection. The Fire Marshal oversees all blasting activities, including permitting, site inspections, and enforcement of local, state, and federal regulations. Any contractor or individual planning to use explosives must obtain a blasting permit, submit required documentation, and follow safety guidelines.
